Powder Coating
TECHNOLOGY
Powder coated products are seen everywhere from daily household items to the toughest machinery, agricultural equipment, vehicle and bicycle parts.
Used on a number of metals and Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), it creates an attractive finish which is tougher than conventional paint, providing rust and corrosion protection maintaining excellent outdoor durability.
Producing thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging, powder coating produces zero appearance difference between horizontally and vertically coated surfaces.
Curing time is significantly faster with powder coating as compared to conventional liquid coating (ESP). When using one colour, the waste powder can be recycled and reused.
Powder coating is applied electro-statically as free flowing dry powder and is then cured under heat to allow it flow and form a skin.
Powder coating contains no solvents and release little or no amount of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).
Currently we are restricted to powder coating small to medium size items. We however offer the option of electrostatic spray painting at the location of your choice for larger items.
